Excited about new RMIT Vietnam website

24 Mar

The new website of RMIT Vietnam is going to be up and running very soon. I have been waiting for this since a very long time ago (before I got admitted into RMIT).

Besides, as the old website won’t be there anymore, I downloaded the whole current website for my own reference (nearly 40MB). I know some are going to miss current website but… shouldn’t we look toward the future?

Let’s just wait to see what’s new in the upcoming version.

Dear all,

ITS will be taking the RMIT Vietnam Website http://www.rmit.edu.vn/ offline tomorrow morning between 6.00am and 8.00am for maintenance. During this time, this web page will not be accessible. The other web pages like blackboard, WebEms and Melbourne library will not be affected.

Sincerely

Updates

24 Mar

It’s the week 5 already. The midterm exams are coming. Time really flies this semester. Also my classmates agree that this semester seems to be too short compared to the first one. There are more things to learn, more study to take and also heavier workload (which I both like and hate).

Yesterday, I was pretty confused about the deadlines of assignments in Database Concepts and Programming 1. I finished the assignment in Programming 1, which will due NEXT week, yet didn’t do the assignment of Database Concepts, which dues today, until last night. What a shame ;)

Am pretty busy these days too. I know I should resign from SIFE, and maybe from the project leader role in BC also. I feel that though I’m doing things right, they are still not the right things to do. I want to develop some technical skills in this semester and half of what I am doing at the Business Club provides me with that opportunity.

My old blog is now activated again, though all the old entries were set to “private”. It’s just about time to do what I enjoy doing like writing weblog and experimenting with brand new technologies.
