Do we have an Unix server? Nope!

01 Apr

I was a little bit disappointed to find out that the “unix” server that IT students use at RMIT Vietnam is actually a Linux box. Well, why not Unix?

Now this blog is much more concentrated on those technical sides huh :-?

    I expected those likely-personal experiences.

My personal experience as a Business Club leader (or my current student life) can be briefly describe:
    - Sleeping in the Finance and Leadership class
    - Never do homework of Internet
    - Switching my Business Enterprise class

How shameful it is. You want me to write it here?

Oh man! You always told me that your school has a Unix server!
By the way, why are you disappointed? Do you know the diferrence between “UNIX” and “GNU/Linux”? Just like MIT license or BSD lincense, nowaday, there is NO such thing as an “actual” UNIX Operating System. “UNIX” is just a concept that refers to a OS family. So, I guess there’s no problem with the GNU/Linux on your school’s server.
